Numerology - In the swiftly moving age in which we live and in past ages not so dizzy, governments change, economic depressions come and go, but human nature flows on much about the same.

People are still people and so it is reasonable to suppose that knowing people is an accomplishment which can always be used for entertainment and for progress in social, economic and professional life.

Your Name - There are three important phases of your personality. 1st, the inner nature, with its likes and dislikes, viewpoints, intentions, ideals and standards. With this basis you consciously or unconsciously judge everyone and everything you meet. 2nd. Your general appearance, or physical type through which you impress strangers in ways favorable or unfavorable to your success. 3rd. Your general temperament, through which you outwardly respond to the people and things around you.

01. Ideality I - You like to be individual, creative and original in your thinking and will be happiest in any occupation or situation where you can direct other people or lay out the plan for others to follow or where you have the opportunity to get the work under your own hands to be done in your way. This is a "one track" number, and so you like to follow a thought or an interest through to the end and in going after what you want will seldom glance to the right or to the left until your object is achieved.

02. Ideality II - You have a keen appreciation for detail and are more sensitive to the smaller things that are done and said by those around you than are most people. You will find it hard to have any very definite opinions, or when you have them, to go to too much effort to force them upon other people. You are impressionable and will take on the ideas and manners of stronger personalities, for your nature is more reflective than creative.

03. Ideality III - You have an ambitious nature. It will be hard for you to be still and content in situations where you can see room for improvement and you should be confident of your ability to reach the goal you set for yourself and to make a success in life without the help of other people if need be. You are slightly intolerant of the opinions of other people particularly if they are illogical and inefficient.

04. Ideality IV - Your outlook upon life is very practical. You have an active mind and therefore are always a little afraid that you are not doing as much work as you should. This means that you will not be happy when idle and will not relax or take enough pleasure, for even recreation is somewhat of a serious business with you. It is easy to start out intending to enjoy yourself and end up by finding some hard work to do.

05. Ideality V - You have a lively imagination and an inward spirit of youth-fulness strong enough to survive even the hardest of experiences. You are very sensitive to surroundings and to any in harmony in your associations. You are jealous of your individuality and having a passion for freedom are inclined to draw away at the least suggestion of someone trying to own you, control your ideas or limit your independence.

06. Ideality VI - You are very conscientious. Your mind is often occupied with thoughts of how you can help other people and you must be careful not to overburden yourself with responsibility by following your impulse to protect. You have a somewhat serious viewpoint of life and would do well if you could avoid feeling that your success depends entirely upon your own effort.

07. Ideality VII - You are self centered. Your viewpoint of yourself, other people, and life in general is not the ordinary one. You are creative in your ideas, do not appreciate the opportunity to think as the rest of the world and may have theories and beliefs by which you will guide your life, that to a more practical viewpoint would appear queer and impractical

08. Ideality VIII - You are very ambitious for material success. You have a good brain and strong senses of loyalty, logic, reason and organization. Because of this you are likely to suffer from thinking too much rather than from being thoughtless and careless.

You have very definite ideas and make the mistake of becoming intolerant of some people because they offend your standards of fair dealing or betray your confidence.

09. Ideality IX - You are broadminded and liberal in your ideas. You understand principles much better than you know how to carry them out. You love freedom of thought and action and so you will do many more things that other people want you to do, when you feel that you are perfectly free not to do them.

You are somewhat general in your viewpoint and impulsive in your judgments. You are much more likely to appreciate the emotional artistic values in situations than the practical ones and sometimes in dealing with people show poor judgment, placing easily upon others the ideal which is in your own mind

10. Love/Friendship - Numerology has some very definite methods for the analysis of human association which from mere acquaintanceship runs through friendship, business, to the ultimate of love. It is no longer sufficient for intelligent people to set love apart from all other associations. Rather, it is true that as it is love that makes the world go round, without the presence of this eternal reaction, no individual would even glance twice at another and the situations of family life, business partnership, as well as the more sentimental attachments, would be impossible.

11. Each Year - Every year brings experience to the individual but not always the same kind of experience. One year our business will prosper while social interests prove very unfortunate. In another, matters of love, or association with friends and family are successful while health and business remain discouraging and the cause of much anxiety.

12. First Name - The first name in the series of two or three which with the family name comprise the complete name received at birth, carries in its letters and numbers a stronger indication to the nature of the real self, the ego. The vowels of this first name are therefore of special importance to the one who would read character by names and numbers, and the most important vowel of all is the first vowel of this first name.

13. Changing Name - The name we receive at birth has been proved to be an exact indication to our character and our ability in this life. It has also been seen, however, that this name from the vibratory standpoint does not always relate us in the best possible attitude to the lessons we came to learn as shown from the "Path of Life."

By changing our name, therefore, we adjust ourselves more favorably to the experiences we are bound to meet in this life, giving ourselves a better chance of success.

14. Middle Life - The years of life up to twenty-seven are termed in Numerology the "First Cycle." The interpretation of the number indicating this period shows the nature of the early associations of our childhood, the lessons we had to begin to learn, the type of parents and associates who were responsible for teaching us and finally the environment in which we grew up.

15. Later Life - The later period of human experience, the influence of which commences to reflect itself in associations, opportunities and conditions generally after the forty-fifth year, but certain from the fifty-fourth birthday is termed in Numerology the "Third Cycle."

The numeral deciding the character of this cycle or period of time is found by adding the numbers in the year of birth. For instance, the children born in the year of 1932 will after their fifty-fourth birthday find their experience characterized by the number 6, because the addition of the numbers 1, 9, 3, 2 is 15, reducible to 6.

16. Birth Date - Human life is composed of two processes, giving out and taking in. Expressing the vibration or rate of energy contained in the character at birth and including the vibration or rate of energy contained in environment, experiences and associations. These processes perpetuate our psychical or cosmic existence in the same way as the inhalation and exhalation of the breath continues our physical life by revitalizing our cell consciousness

17. Mr. Cheasley’s - Human Engineering discovers, measures and explains the constitution of the intangibles that are motivating personalities, affecting circumstances toward certain results. In problems of health, wealth, love and economy, an hour of deductive analysis is often worth many days of inductive thinking. The object of these private consultations is to reveal the best direction possible in personality, in association and opportunity; to give guidance in every type of personal problem.
