5 Things You Must Know About Astrology Star Sign

I have always thought that astrology star signs are a very silly idea. It is not that I do not believe in the possibility of the supernatural. I believe that anything is possible. Even science does not know what mysteries still lurk in the universe. But the idea that an astrological chart has some special provenance strikes me as suspicious at best. After all, think about how many people are born in any given month. It is simply not possible that the same astrology love matches would apply to all of them. Perhaps there is such  a thing as destiny, and perhaps our fates are determined by the heavens, but thinking that you can read your destiny in your astrological star sign is naïve.

Of course, I know a lot of people who love astrology. It is almost inevitable, living in Berkeley California as I do. Several of my friends actually asked the question “what's your sign?” when they are flirting in bars. To them, the astrological star sign is not something to be taken likely. They see their astrology star sign as a central part of who they are and where they are from. They will seek out people with one particular astrology star sign, while consciously avoiding people with another one. It is downright creepy if you ask me.

Of course, what is even worse is people who pay money for astrological readings. It is one thing to be into astrology as a  hobby, but it is quite another thing to hire a professional astrologer. One of my best friends will not make any important life decision without getting an astrological horoscope reading! The worst part about it is that getting the astrology star sign reading is the only thing that she does. She does not sit down and think about her decision in depth first, then read her horoscope. She gets the horoscope and that is it.

It is pretty easy to figure out why the astrology star sign is so popular. People get confused and scared by important decisions. It is really hard to figure out who is right for you in love, what could be the right job for you, and how to solve any other current life issues. What is so captivating about the astrology star sign is that it gives you the promise of an easier way to go through life. If there were a magic key that you could always look at, all your decisions would be simple. Unfortunately, life isn't really like that.
